I’ve got a crush on you!
October 8, 2006 Yes! I’ve got a new crush and the odd thing about this is that I am infatuated with a guy?!! hehehe…..Finally, FINALLY saw the movie I’ve been wanting to watch since I heard about it - Step up! It’s a dance flick, along the lines of "honey" and "save the last dance" and it is currently my favourite movie! I LOVED IT!!!! Channing Tatum was sooooo hot in the movie. My friend Gem was telling me that when she watched the movie, she thought of me a lot because 1) I am crazy about dancing and anything related to dance, 2) the guy in the lead role (channing tatum) would fit the bill of my type of guy. What is my type of guy? Bald or with a shaved-head, extremely sexy and a flawlessly amazing dancer? Well…that is what will grab my attention but not necessarily sustain it!
My weaknesses: Amazing dancers, martial artists or sports men! Basically guys who are very very passionate about something physical. As for Channing Tatum - he can obviously dance, very well (fantasy number 1…check!) He apparently earned belts in Kung-Fu and Gor Chor Kung-Fu (fantasy number 2…check!) and he trained in baseball, track, soccer and football but eventually concentrated on football! (fantasy number 3…. CHECK!). If that is not enough, he is part native american (the rawness), Irish and FRENCH!!!! Enough! I’m dying here!
His dancing skills…..wow! drool-worthy!
So smooth! His transitions are flawless….There is just that little something special in him that not all have! There are gazillions out there who can dance, move along to the beat but only a few that stand out and get noticed! In a jampacked club, I would zoom in on him the minute I get in. He has that ooommmppphhhhh that just draws you in to just keep watching! And his physique? Just perfect! Not too bulky, ripped just right, the perfect definition, great V-shape to his back and that ass……freaking A!!! I can so nibble on that! The only thing that ruined the fantasy for me was his bloody pants! I hate those trousers he had on man! The crotch was like down to his knees! oh well….it cant be all perfect right? And often in the movie, he just had a white tee on, or a white shirt…..Love men in white. They look so neat and clean and fresh and looking so damn good! Hey, my first date with Gary, he was in white! Our Boracay trip, he donned my ultimate fantasy look on a man - white loose drawstring trousers and a loose white v-neck top! The other night, when we went out on a date, he was so strikingly handsome….again in a white long sleeved shirt…..recalling that night…damn……I’m biting my lip just to control myself! I’ve never seen my Gary look that handsome.
Back to "step up"….what I loved about the movie aside from the choreography is the passion displayed in it - passion for music, for dance and what you are willing to do and give up to get what you want! The amount of work and dedication that goes in to honing your skills to be the best at what you do! Watching it reminded me of my frustration for professional training in dance, and becoming a professional dancer! Haaaayyyyy…. It inspired me to get better at teaching my classes which only means I will have to take jazz classes, something I have always wanted to do! With professional training, your lines are so much better, extensions are longer, leaner and cleaner and your pirouettes look graceful, not unbalanced, like mine are right now! I am still trying to get spotting down!
Do catch the movie where it is still being shown. I can’t wait for the dvd to come out. In the meantime, I will contend myself with "honey"! Now, jessica Alba, she is my ULTIMATE crush! And for the guys out there, the girl in the lead role in Step Up, Jenna Dewan, was Fantabulous!!! If there is such a word!

the pictures are very sexy.but you know, i love that movie too!!!
